1:24 PM Eastern US Time, Sunday 13 March — North Korea specifically warned today its Hydrogen Bomb “Can destroy Manhattan” the main business center of the United States.  It is ominous they would say this without any context relating to New York, when there is no dispute involving New York, and it could indicate they have plans to do so.

The image above, taken in the early 1950’s, just a few years after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is an serial view of Manhattan. There are two white circles added.  The smaller white circle is centered atop Manhattan and shows the blast effect of a Hiroshima-sized ATOMIC bomb.  The larger white circle includes Brooklyn to the southeast, Queens to the east, the Bronx to the north and Hudson County New Jersey to the west (includes Hoboken and Jersey City).

The small white circle in Manhattan shows the effect of a Hiroshima-sized ATOMIC bomb detonation, while the larger white circle shows the effect of a HYDROGEN bomb detonation.  It is a HYDROGEN bomb that North Korea now claims to have.

If an atomic bomb were detonated as shown, we here at SuperStation95 would likely survive.  If a hydrogen bomb detonated in the same spot, none of us here at SuperStation95 would survive.

On January 6, 2016, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) earthquake reporting system reported publicly as follows:

M5.1 Nuclear Explosion – 21km ENE of Sungjibaegam, North Korea

The USGS provided a map showing the location of the nuclear explosion in North Korea.  That map appears below:

In their report, the USGS also reported “Underground nuclear explosion. Felt (V) at Songjianghe, China. Also felt at Helong, Hunchun, Tumen and Yanji. Felt at Hyesan-si, Kimch’aek and Sungjibaegam, North Korea.  To see the USGS report from the government’s web site, Click Here.

While so-called “experts” questioned whether the explosion was just another atomic bomb or a hydrogen bomb, it is quite clear to New Yorkers that North Korea actually possesses a device powerful enough to carry out its threats.

One New Yorker, John Diamond, asked what he thought of the situation said quite bluntly “We have a right to defend ourselves. The next time their leader comes to the UN here in New York, we can solve this problem.”   We didn’t bother asking what he meant.
